The aim of the three ordinances of the central government is to improve the structure in the field of agriculture and double the income of farmers: MP Duggal

 Sirsa, 14 September : MP Sunita Duggal said that the central government has brought three ordinances under its new agriculture policy with the aim of doubling the income of farmers. The MP said that the three ordinances brought by the central government complement each other and are tied to one formula. The purpose of bringing these ordinances is to bring structural reforms in the field of agriculture and to help farmers get the profitable value of their crops.


The MP said that there is an attempt to spread confusion over the three ordinances while the reality is that these ordinances will neither end the system of the market nor the minimum support value. In every situation, the farmer will get the minimum support price of his crop. The MP said that in a way the farmer has been given the freedom to sell his produce in the open market. The MP said that the BJP government has brought three ordinances in view of the interest of the farmers, which will strengthen the farmers in every field. Sunita Duggal said that giving farmers options to sell yields in their choice of choice at better price will also increase the number of potential buyers. He said grains, oil, onions and potatoes etc have been removed from this law through ordinance. This will benefit the farmers a lot.
MP Sunita Duggal said that the interest of farmers is paramount. Only the BJP government can protect the interests of farmers and common people while the opposition parties are working to mislead the farmers and traders of the state. He said that some political party leaders are baking their political breads under the guise of farmer organizations and spreading false propaganda that the grain market will be closed. He said no grain market will be closed across the state. Every grain of farmer s' crop will be bought at a reasonable support price, for which the government has made strong arrangements. MP said the government is committed to double the income of farmers by 2022 Under this, the plan to provide up to 80 percent subsidy on machinery for the management of crop residues in the state has been started. The price of sugarcane has been increased to Rs. 340 per quintal in the state, which is the highest in the country. I have provided provision of Rs. per acre incentive to the farmers on sowing corn, cotton, millet, pulse, vegetables and gardening crops in place of paddy under my heritage scheme. In the Corona period, the government has also set a large amount for the agriculture sector in the economic package of Rs 20 lakh crore. Economic package of Rs lakh crore has been allotted to develop agricultural infrastructure in the country.
